We came joint second in the Pike View Hike in 2009More...

The troop took part in the new District scout incident hike 23-11-08. It was based around the Didsbury area over 4 Km, with 4 incidents. Unfortunately our only rivals were 306th, we managed to get 7.5 more points than them so won. Well done.

We have had a change of leader team since the summer holidays. We have said good bye to Evan who has moved to Bristol and to Pete and ben who have also moved away from the area. Thanks very much for your support over the time you have helped the section. Welcom to David, Claire, Brian and Sarah who have joined us this year.

We also say goodbye to Sam Bolton, Arun Flynn, Alex Kidd, Ben Kolbeck,Edmond Whitmore and Nick Fryman who have all moved on into the District Explorer Scout Unit.

We had a very successful camp with Trollactive in Norway in June 2008. We will endeavour to get a report posted soon.

Gold Chief scouts award
Well done to Josh Kidd who has gained his Gold Chief scouts award the first scout in the group to do so for over 10 years.

Two of our PLs attended the national PLs camp at Brownsea Island. Three of our old scouts who are now Explorers attended the world scout Jamboree. 15 of the troop went to London over the Jamboree and visiting the Jamboree. 19 scouts attended the county centenary camp.
