Scouting offers challenge and adventure to 400,000 young people and 100,000 adults across the UK. We believe in helping our Members fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We give people of every background the chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and make life long friends.
Scouts is the section of Scouting which caters for 10½ to 14 year olds.
Scouts is for 10½ to 14 year olds.
We meet every Tuesday during School Term time
We meet for one and a half hours at 7pm until 8:30pm
We meet at the Scout Hut on School Lane opposite the junction with Beaver Road. Our full address is at the bottom of this page.
Is it for Girls as well as boys?
YES... Scouting provides adventure to both boys and girls.
All adults within the Group are volunteers, in order to run the group we charge £7 per month which we ask to be paid by standing order (alternative arrangements can be made)

All of our adults helpers withing the group are volunteer who tirelessly give their time to ensure our young people have a great time. We are always looking for more help to allow us to keep providing a wide and varied programme. If you are interested in helping please check out of Volunteer page.
